All of our Japanese-style rooms are based on the tea ceremony room, using the techniques of Japanese traditional architecture.
The refined simplicity, without ornate decorations, encapsulates exquisite craftsmanship.
The walls are finished with Juraku mud, using fine soil collected solely from around the Nishijin area in Kyoto.
Our Standard Japanese-style Rooms have a 10-tatami mat room, an enclosed veranda, an alcove, a restroom and more. The main room offers a spacious 484 sq ft/45 sq m area. Every room is distinctive, with no two designs of the ceiling, latticework and other decor exactly alike. This is a special standard room unlike any other.
Our Japanese-style Junior Suites have a 10 tatami-mat room plus a 6-tatami mat anteroom (667 sq ft/62 sq m area in total), an enclosed veranda, alcoves, a restroom, and more. The alcoves in both the main room and anteroom are adorned with a hanging scroll, Japanese-style fittings, flower arrangements and other decorations.
Our Japanese-style Suites have a 13 tatami-mat room plus a 7 tatami-mat anteroom (840 sq ft/78 sq m area in total), an enclosed veranda, alcoves, a cypress bathtub, and more. These Suites have an anteroom equipped with a Slumberland bed that was awarded the British Royal Warrant. This suite is recommended for those who hesitate to sleep on futon bedding laid directly on the floor. The floor plan and other fixtures, such as a Japanese cypress bathtub, are in the same manner as our Japanese-style Suites.
We offer hotel-like Western-style rooms ideally suited for casual travelers, solo travelers, and business travelers.
Each room has a bathroom with a tub/shower combination, and Single Rooms come with a massage chair.
Guests are free to enjoy hot spring immersions in our large bathing rooms, too.
Thanks to its mild climate, the Setouchi Region produces abundant bounty
from the mountains and the sea.
We offer multi-course dinners such as "Sansho" and "Kocho" in our dining rooms,
or in your room if you prefer.
Please choose the option that best fits your needs.
There are two open-air baths, each with rustic ambiance: a rock-lined bath, and a pot-shaped one made by hollowing out a single Iyo-Oshima Stone (white granite). Relax and unwind to the sound of cascading thermal waters. The indoor bathtub is made of Japanese cypress wood. Plenty of wood on the ceiling and walls creates a calm, soothing space.
The spacious indoor bath lends a simple yet rugged ambiance, with an Iyo-Oshima Stone boldly arranged in the center. Of course, there is still ample space to stretch your legs while soaking in the water. The open-air bath is made of Japanese cypress. Indulge in the thermal waters while enjoying the small garden set before your eyes and the tumbling hot water soundtrack.
